First match day

Here is an update from Glen Cook, player co-ordinator

With a bleak day weather wise for their first run on the field, the Chargers stormed through both games.

We had strong numbers of approx 13 - 15 players on the day all looking forward to their first game.

The first game of the day consisted of a mixture of both Footscray 1 + 2 and Chargers and was against Melton, a very strong and large team.

We held our own and ended up in front at the final whistle. All the Chargers took up the call and played hard and held their own on the field.
